Cabrillo beach and aquarium.
Since Kevin's family was in town for the funeral we were able to spend some time together. The kids had so much fun playing and loving on their new little cousin Tiernan. One day we took the kids to the Cabrillo beach aquarium and the beach. Some of the kids had never seen the ocean before and it was so fun to be apart of that. Despite the fact that it was November and the kids didn't have swim suits on that didn't stop them. We started with playing in the sand, then dipping feet in, and finally some ended up body surfing. We had so much fun and it was great just being together. 
I just realized I haven't blogged about this! I'm so glad you were there with the kids as they experienced the ocean. They still talk about it, and we have a bowl of rocks in the kids' bathroom that we collected that day.
