Today we celebrated our little Princess Alexa's first birthday. She had 6 of her one year old friends over for some princess fun. Tutus and all.

And here's the cake. Nana tried to rescue it but it was a lost cause. However, it tasted very yummy and moist.
We have had such a wonderful year loving our baby girl and creating some fun family memories. It has also been so fun to see how much Ethan loves and adores his little sister. As I thought about how quickly this first year with Alexa has gone by I felt a little teary and mentioned to my mom how I just can't believe she's one already. My mom put things in perspective for me and said, "How do you think I feel? I have a 36 year old daughter." Happy Birthday Alexa. We love you sweet baby girl!

She is so big!!! What a stinking cute party. Of course it was - since Shawn is so amazing with those things :) We love you and miss you all!!!
